Brent--I agree that the internet does offer opportunity to meet some wonderful people. I vacationed at a friends house who I met though SI because of our mutual love of fly fishing. I have other friends I hope and intend to meet. I deliberately left off apple pie. I am skeptical that its origins are American. The three I mentioned are (I love Key Lime Pie incidentally). If you can find it, see if you can locate the Cookbook USA CD. It has 1,094,000 recipes on it. Drawn from over 4,700 cookbooks. What a resource! I am in love with it. All the Best Druss
