Yes, indeed...dissapointing but we already knew they've hit nothing this year or we would've heard about it. On the one hand, it's nice to finally see some assays but on the other hand, no map of drill locations, etc. (ie. just how far is hole 98-131 from wonder hole 97-75?)

... With the
exception of the high grade massive sulphides in the footwall gneisses in
97-75 and 98-131, all of the intersections are contained within widespread
blanket mineralization at the base of the gabbro. This flat lying blanket
mineralization is highly conductive and is detected by in-loop pulse EM.

The last sentence of this paragraph suggests (to me anyway) that the PEMs may not be as meaningless as last year's much hyped gravity surveys. Should this hold true, then we just might have a surprise up LAB's sleeve as we keep hearing that the strongest PEM readings to date are those found on Labrador Nickel Syndicate land. It also sounds like they have refined targets on NAI, CYP, and MGJ jv lands based on interpretation of this new data.

By all means this is quite a stretch but again to me it provides a sliver of hope for the rest of the '98 drilling season. I also agree with Terence that perhaps the promo wheel is just once again beginning to turn. Their way of saying, "Thanks for coming out...see you again next year."

So how many of us will be back next year? Will they be able to raise funds (for next year) as successfully this winter? What will the market do tomorrow? How about 2 weeks from now when they've got the drills finally turning on LABland? This all remains to be seen. I don't think any of us has the answers...except maybe Terence's daughter. <g>

I remain on my knees praying to the nickel gods.

Good luck to all.

ps. these clowns could never keep their mouths shut...there's little doubt in my mind that the run up 3 weeks ago was due to hole 131.

pps. LAB sell-off today also suggests someone knew about the timing of this NR...and certainly the timing of yesterday's LAB NR...dem's da breaks...nobody gives a shit about us little guys.
