"Oakland has always been a special opponent for Denver coach Mike Shanahan, who was fired by Raiders owner Al Davis after four games in 1989. He is 6-1 against his former team, including a 34-17 victory back in Week Three." Last year's Raider victory was a fluke. Everybody has extrapolated way too much from that game.
