You do not know the history of this thread AT ALL............. Your wife, if she is the one writing as Nancy, seems like a wonderful, intelligent, insightful person. It is beyond me why a canon of law exists just to say that she is not Jewish. What does it matter? Who cares if she's Jewish or not? That was my whole point some think I am fixated on being Jewish I DON'T EVEN GO TO TEMPLE and I may have gone 4 times in my LIFE. I repeat: If we're not to try to be like God and Jesus, just who ARE we to try to be like? What IS the correct answer here? To simply realize we are sinners and ask for forgiveness of sin. To accept Jesus as the Messiah as a vessel to lead you in life until the time of ones death..... After that you will be what he deems you to be. This is what I believe if you do not concur thats fine. I AM NOT HERE TO FORCE FEED YOU. I also am not here to say you are a Satanist or going to Hell. I am only responsible to myself. Just because others infer this do not lump it with regards to myself. You putting down the Bible is the same as putting down my culture and I have a right to defend it. The Torah is the Old Testament Sam deems it as a bunch of Malarkey at this point I am not saying you are doing the same but I have seen some curse words come out of your mouth and it seems like you hold some sort of anger with regards to what some people have done to you. It most likely is on the line of judging you and I am NOT. I have no idea what your beliefs are you seem to have many sources I only have one and wish to keep it that way. I accepted the Lord as a child some may think it is corny and I do not give a flip if they do. Up to the age of thirteen I never even read the Bible but I accepted Jesus at a very early age 2 3 whatever but when I did read some of the Bible my thoughts were in harmony with what I was reading I thought that strange but I realized that my life was being directed by who I had accepted and that is why NOBODY is going to downplay Jesus (Yeshua) in my life. The simple fact is that my thoughts correlate to what I read and to be honest I read the Bible rarely. True confession is all that is needed I LIVE IT. It does not make me better than anyone else and I have a story behind that as well and would at this point not get into it................ I lie and I have sinned even to this day I am a rag compared to God no I am just trying to be worthy for what he did for me as a sinner... Call it weak or whatever without him (GOD) I am nothing........... Alan
