Guess what Gerald: The TI engine is worse quality than CRT. The TI engine is potentially cheaper. It actually competes in the LCD category. My CRT projector is significantly better than the PJTV system. TI is selling an entire video engine and PJTV has added the power supply and case. Welcome to the world of clones. When TI can get the yields of their chip up, they will flood the market with them. At that time, PJTV will have built a brand recognition, or join Dumont. Their rear projection device is not compelling. Sound is the selling feature. Their front projection device is no better than many others. The issues are price and marketing. The technology is TI's. Hype may buy stocks, but I like to buy stocks in businesses where I don't have to worry about smoke and mirrors. I'm delighted you swear by the Wiz. That article seemed to suggest that they were over-extended.
