Good to see action in this thread again. Your company list is a good one; we participate in a number of them like Intel, Motorola, American Water Works, Colgate and several others including a couple of electric utilities. Some of them now offer direct purchase. We try to stay with plans that do not charge brokerage or fees; especially fees. Those eat up our relatively-small dividends and reduce the compounding effect.
