Hi Gordan, there is an article in the interactive WSJ which claims that there is no good reason that miniaturized circuitry will "need all that power" , and in the future, most of the new gadgets will need only miniature batteries. It doesn't discuss industry trends pointing towards more power. Go to the WSJ, click on search, enter "battery", you will find the piece listed in the 18 Nov. column.
