Ok, I will argue about INTC! :) I'd love to have bought at 100. I was considering buying INTC at 60 at the first of 1996 and thought it was overpriced. I finally got it at 126 because I was tired of sitting on the sidelines. I told my friend "I don't care if it goes down from here. I am in the game and playing for a change."

Regarding Exxon, look at the P/E ratio--19 as of Friday even after the big gains last week. In my opinion this a little on the low side for a company posting the earning increases they have been generating. I admit that with all the talk about 1997 being the year for small- and mid-cap stocks that Exxon won't be one of the big gainers but I loved having a stock that remained relatively stable when the market was on the roller coaster a few weeks back.

By the way, it won't be at 100 if it splits. :)
