Mr. Rogers,

Whoa big fella! Don't take down those bottles of beer for Mr. Su just yet. Neither lumpia nor adobo appear in the Oxford English Dictionary; however adobo (mmmm...sounds delicious!) does appear in my American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, although lumpia does not.

In the spirit of your word challenge (but sans beer) does anyone know the two other Malay words, in addition to amok, adopted into the English language? Hint: One of them would be very handy while running amok!

Jerard P

P.S. Kuto (cooties) in Tagalog is kutu in Bahasa Malaysia, the Malay language.
