Most published PEs for Syquest are inaccurate. They have not been updated to reflect the massive share dilution that has and is currently taking place. If I recall, Syquest is probably in the 20 million plus shares range currently with millions more to follow soon with scheduled conversions, etc. In addition, they continue to burn their recent cash infusions and are expected to need additional financing within the next few months. This will eventually lead to even more dilution. With losses forecasted through the end of 1997, it isn't hard to imagine that Syquest could easily end the year with over 30 million shares outstanding, or maybe even 40 to 50 million depending on share price, product acceptance and ramp-up speeds. Even if EZFlyer sales start to pick up and the SyJet becomes a big hit in its target markets, it is hard to imagine that sales 12 months from now could possibly even justify today's stock price.
