Kevin, you are right. CollectIt model seems a lot like eBay's. Apparently you can't buy stock in Krause Publications either. But the Krause owners will not be able to resist the urge to become multimillionaires, so it is very probable that they will have an Initial Public Offering like eBay had. Unfortunately, this will be very well publicized (maybe) and ordinary people won't be able to get in at the offering price.
