E,
I disagree that I am am expert at not answering questions. There is a difference between answering questions and arguing with Sam. I've answered many questions here. But arguing with Sam serves no good purpose except maybe to amuse some here. Sam posts outright lies and we have no common ground for reasoning. Christianity is not based on reasoning anyhow, it's based on faith. I don't want to respond to hostility which is what Sam personifies.

God's dealings with me in my life are not something I can convey to you. My faith is not based on reasoning, but faith inspired by the proofs in my life that God is real. When I came to accept Jesus I knew little about christianity, I was not convinced by clever arguments. Let me try to explain it this way. When Jesus was here He performed many signs and miracles to attest to who He was. He showed that He fulfilled the scriptural prophesies that God had sent to the Israelites through His prophets. God did not ask anyone to believe without some proof. To the Israelites this was real proof and so many were saved because they had faith, like Abraham. In the same way God showed Himself to me in ways I understood and I responded with the faith to be saved. What I know about the Word Of God now I learned afterwards.

Bob
