Bryan, yes Delta's reported earnings were only around a buck and change, but that included a massive restructuring charge. You need to look at their 10K to get the true earnings. I agree with Neff that DAL does look cheap here. He refers to LUV as being "in a class by itself". Question is: Do LUV's prospects and balance sheet justify its higher PE?

All the airlines should do well if oil drops to $20. Question is: which one should go up the most? And what happens if prices remain stubbornly where they are? Will the entire industry adopt fuel price surcharges?
