Question: has anyone actually seen a beta of the Rugrats game, or (better yet) has anyone's kids seen the game?

I'm quite a bit less knowledgeable about THQ than others on this board, but I do know the media and software games business. All the promotional tie-ins and marquis partners in the world can only get you so far if the game itself is mediocre.

Remember Rocket Science? They had the best partners in US and Japan, top designers from the movie industry, the entire Apple QuickTime team in their development group, and the cover of Wired (and many other magazines)...but 14-yr-olds thought their games stunk, so the company tanked. There are lots of other examples -- at the end of the day, it's the quality of game experience itself that matters.

Just want to double-click one last time before we start counting the revenue...would love to hear any insights.
