Even if foreigners have to pay U.S. dollars for Intel microprocessors, an appreciation of the U.S. dollar relative to other Asian currencies will mean that foreigners have to pay more for the chips in terms of local currencies, and this would hurt demand. Still, I don't think that Intel will suffer too much as the Asian economies are presently growing quite rapidly.
