I've done a bit of name calling on threads myself, so understand how those things happen.

I don't recall how that happened in the Paul circumstance, but in my own case it was always a response to attack.

Don't be too quick to write off Paul's predictions on the macro economic situation, though.

It continues to deteriorate, and throwing money at a problem caused by money throwing, isn't the answer.

I wouldn't be surprised to see improvement in Japan, but until they cut taxes it will be short term, modest improvement, in my estimation.

Continuing to be a deflationist, even in the face of the Fed's excessive money creation.

Even though all I read on the precious metals threads is how inflation will be the result.

I personally feel that the inflation is here already, and it's in speculative investments. Big techs and internet stocks.

And it won't spread to the CPI for example, because that type of inflation can disappear in a flash.

When the bubble pops.
