I think that you are missing the point... I work with and see probably 20 customers per week that have current rear projection tv sets. I have yet to speak with one that thinks that the quality is equal to tube tv sets period. The whole premise that PJTV was founded was to improve on the current quality crt projection tv sets that everyone agrees is sorely needed in a fast growing hugh market. sure I'l give you that the quality in some of the sonys and hitachis are better than 2 years ago- but there is still a huge noticable gap in quality between tube tvs and rear projection tvs. and both their depixalated lcd projector and TIs dmd from everything that I have read are both better, seeing their competition with plasma tvs as the only threat... The reason all the tvs you named use crts is that none have yet to addopt a better standard.. But when the flood gates open (and they will) they will be forced to compete and put out an equal product and ultimately the consumer will be the judge........
