found this is on briefing.com - i guess it would make sense to do yearend splits to give them that last jolt to ensure that they fall into the ranks of best performing for the year - good luck to all ... Internet sector remained red hot, fuelled in part by AOL's (83 1/4 +7 7/8 - post split) 2-for-1 stock split... In light of recent gains, other net stocks expected to follow suit and announce splits shortly...
