If I can jump in and ask a question here:

Losing on the shorts at the moment, I incorrectly guessed the top on Tuesday.

Relating that to what you said two posts ago about bubbles being unpredictable and being ready to burst when the shorts are wiped out and everybody takes the bubble to be justified - wouldn't that be the moment to call the top? Instead of some arbitrary point in time which is what I take last Tuesday to be. Or are you saying that you called a top Tuesday because you thought that shorts had been wiped out etc., etc.?
