Hi all,
This is fascinating. I finally learned to find and read the options pages in Investors Business Daily. Now I can see what people mean when they say that, generally speaking, the stock will stay around the same price as the most bought option expiration strike price.
Dell is now staying solidly in the 63-65 range. It looks to me (but I might be reading the table wrong) that the 65 strike price is the most owned for Nov.
However, it also looks to me like the 57 1/2 strike price is the most bought for Dec. Do people then expect DELL to be in the high 50's in Dec? There also were quite a few at 70, (where my covered call is).
Please someone look at the table and tell me if I am reading it correctly. It also looked like there is a third column but it doesnt say Jan. Is it Jan?
Thanks for any help.
Good gracious there is so much to learn, but also so much information out there. I am enjoying learning about this stock/option business so very very much.
