Having the best technical knowledge helps when playing Jepardy - it is relatively easy to hire or JV with the technical knowledge when looking for minerals if you have good property -it is getting the right properties that count. For example look at the background of the people running most of the small spec companies -you make more if they are brokers in their previous lives -than if they were geologists.
