Let me program it in to tell me when I'm within x blocks/miles of a service station (select: gas only, w/car wash, full service), a food joint (select: fast food, sit down, full service, dinner club, lounge), a motel or hotel (select: pool, dining, PC connections, price range). Now that would change the application from unpleasant spam to pleasant information that I want on demand! I like it. ; )
And while your sending me the info, let me book a reservation and take care of the billing arrangement while I'm in transit. I get my confirmation back, park, walk up to my hotel room door and hold my *device* to the special lock that receives the digital code that you sent me. As I enter the room, I see that the chilled shrimp I requested is already on the little table next to the extra towels I wanted. Luxury!!! No check in (Nirvana!). |
