>> if one has to own a Net stock, then own either AOL or MSFT because MSNBC is catching up fast to YHOO in terms of users but valued at 1/5 of YHOO on per user basis.<<

I applaud your thinking and like to choose Microsoft. I would not underestimate the power of this company and its resources to change the future. One way or another anyone who who raises a sword against this behemoth, will eventually have their heads handed to them.
I like AOL for a quick play if you like to get your adrenalin rushing. Jumped out of this today when Ebay, Yhoo and Amzn were loosing momentum.

After the close Lycos reported operating loss and the stock is down on instanet. A lot of people are going to get burnt trying to get the fast buck.
Sometimes it is too hard to resist doing a little gambling now and then. I would prefer buy and hold companies like Dell, Msft Intc, Csco,

Best Wishes
Frank
