OT (as if anything I've posted so far today was not ;)

Jeff I'm glad that CD finally broke the $14 barrier. If it manages to hold this level, then I will speculate that it will be a trading buy (because it will take years for Cendent's management to convince me I should invest in their company). Speaking of speculation, I thought may be I should put my money where my mouth is and buy some CD options. But given the magnitude of speculation in that market today, I think I'll take my chances elsewhere. Take a look at edreyfus.com Have you ever seen so much froth on a big cap stock in one day?! The November 15 calls, which both out of money and expire tomorrow traded 5,120 contracts today! This is almost as bad as what we had with NOVL and COMS yesterday. BTW, I made a bet on NOVL yesterday which so far is paying off and I'm thinking of getting into COMS. You may want to check them out. Mean while, VISX is now 65 (a lot of good that does me, I maxed out at 60, and were to slow buy more as I should have) and the other candidate I was seriously considering, FLEX, moved too fast for me to catch (up 10 points in 3 days). Every time I think I'll jump in on a pull back, it leaps forward! O'well...Porche is an over-rated car anyway <G>
