OGM,

Rugrats is a very good game. I played it at E3 and have already seen demos at Best Buy. I think THQ is very aware of the importance of a quality title for such a high profile license. I believe Sony is also confident of the quality of Rugrats since they are spending close to 4million to assist in selling this game. Their motivation is to bring a younger demographic to Playstation.

Up to now, Playstation has been the platform for teens and adults, with Nintendo capturing more of the younger set. Now that Playstation has been successful reaching an 'older' demographic, they need a broader demographic to keep growing,

About 10 years or more ago, Atari tried to rush to market an ET game based of course on the ET movie. They tried to bring this game to market in about 1/2 the time or less required at the time to develop a quality game...it assisted in the demise of Atari. I believe THQ is very aware of this error.
