Tenchusatsu - In my opinion your response to Scott is a little loud. Let me tell you why.

For a good part of the last year we heard all about how the PII had superior FP operations as compared to the K6(although I would hope we could agree that for most office/personal usage that is right next to irrelevant).

Then we heard all about the INTC speed increases and how AMD was going 1 - 2 - 3 speed grades down - and they did.

From the AMD marketing perspective, I would expect them to be concentrating on their weak points which have been strengthened. Wouldn't you?

As far as I know, at identical clock, K6 beats PII in integer calculations, under most configurations.
