Thread,

Was wanting to throw this out there.

Manugistics MANU seems to be in trouble. I've seen several mentions of a MANU buyout. Everybody in ERP has been mentioned as a possible suitor as has ITWO.

Michelle, I've seen you mention you'd like to see ITWO and MANU merge.

Does anyone have comments pro/con concerning an ITWO/MANU merger?

I doesn't seem that MANU is successfully competing against i2 currently, and am unsure of what benefits such a merger would bring to i2 other than 1) increasing market share fast, and 2) removing a potential future competitor from the playing field.

Does a merger with MANU make sense, and if so, at what price? I certainly don't want ITWO to pay too much for what I percieve to be a dying competitor.

In particular, what does MANU do well that i2 doesn't?

Thanks for any comments.

Shane
