Solution,

Please reread the first paragraph, it seems we were enjoying the refreshments being provided for a different meeting... not the VIAS meeting. In fact, the VIAS meeting was a very low budget affair which resulted in about dozen people having to stand in the back of the room!

As far as the report not sounding very upbeat, I would have to say I am fairly upbeat about VIAS's future. I truly believe they are working on getting the company back into the business they know about which is the mainframe application knowledge area. I keep in close touch with many of the people in the development organization (since I worked there for over 13 years) and I have a good idea about what products they are working on. I think they will get the company back on track and the appropriate revenue will follow. Whether that will happen this quarter, next quarter or several quarters from now, I do not really know and do not want to guess.

Like TED I have been long on VIAS since the IPO (well, actually since 1985, but those shares took a long time to be worth something...) and I am looking forward to a higher stock valuation than the current level!

Best regards,

JDR
