George: CONTRADICTION ALERT!!!! Why is WCOM "stepping into the giant copper cage" with the Baby Bells by announcing wholesale support for DSL? I'm sure you heard their Vice Chairman at COMDEX earlier this week. Blasphemer! He even mentioned working with the RBOCs! Is the cost of replicating the existing installed links to 125 million homes and businesses perhaps too high for King Bernie when debt capital costs 9 or 10 percent a year instead of 6 or 7? Your thoughts please. What am I missing? Charlie Smith
