Mizz, From what I've seen of white papers from Ascend, Joe AT&T et al can buy the ASG today with no fear of having to forklift upgrade the Hardware platform to get the new features like SCP. Its just another software function which sits on top ie. it should not delay purchasing decisions. The SCP already exists on the present Stratus platform, its just a matter of getting it integrated with the remote access gear to deliver the sexy features. Once that's done, I'd expect the CLECs and RBOCs to be banging on the door of Ascend Plaza.
