Excellent points. There is a public company called Whole Foods, you might have heard of them, symbol OATS. They just bought a small chain of stores called the Merchant of Vino where I used to live. I have shopped at both and they are wonderful. The selection emulates that of the better groceries in Manhattan, not the best though. I also agree with something DRUSS said. It is just a matter of time before these unique foods enter the everyday cuisine.

I am still trying to put together some Thanksgiving Day plans. I might be going to my sisters; the one I mentioned earlier. She said she wants to cook Thanksgiving for my mother and her husband. I think she wants me to teach her the family secret, sage. So, so far it appears to be turkey, home made cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing in side the turkey with sage (I know you are supposed to cook them separate these days.) and my German apple strudel. I have a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape 1991 I have been waiting to open and looking for a good reason. Not the best wine but a good one.

I apologize for not get back to your message yesterday. I did not get back to anyone's personal messages. I made dinner last night and fell a sleep. I made that German apple strudel(I like raisons in with apples it seems to brings out the flavors more) and a smoked turkey with cheese strudel, getting ready for Thanksgiving and needed the practice.
