<Any thoughts as to whether this [IPEC- NVLS alliance] will survive the SFAM merger?>

SFAM is the buyer of IPEC so YES I cannot see why it won't survive - by the way it isn't really a merger but a buyout as the offer is 0.71 shares of SFAM for every share of IPEC....which equates to roughly what IPEC closed at yesterday. In so far as NVLS's CEO is on the Board of Directors of SFAM, I personally suspect that the appearance of a conflict to the remainder of the Board when the alliance was first announced was likely neutered by the fact that this buyout was probably on the horizon. Ultiamtely, I have always thought that NVLS's CEO membership on SFAM's Board would lead to a buyout SFAM....and the alliance with SFAM's ownership may make that even more clear, because if NVLS has an interest in owning CMP capability, there is only one horse in town to buy now really. Makes me wonder if Richard Hill orchestrated this deal in the first place.

I hope this answers your questions.....SemiBull
