Just read your post from November about adding another company to your portfolio. I had neglected to bookmark this thread and didn't realize it was getting action until someone sent me a reply a couple days ago, and I'm glad to see the interest here!

With your premise of buying in a fairly large amount on the initial purchase, I think I'd screen for those (admittedly few) companies that offer discounts for OCPs. We did that with AWK when they were discounting and it felt good to start out with a 5% increase in our holding right out of the box! I don't have a set of companies in mind, but I have a hunch some of the REITS may be candidates, and they're looking kinda good as a group now anyway. Admittedly, I'm not sure any of the REITs offer discounts on OCPs, but it's worth a look.
