Henry,
I agree that LHSPF is not undiscovered today. I did happen to get into it though well over a year ago...before the involvement and backing of Microsoft. So yes, the ride has been a wild one to say the least. I still feel though that they are indeed still in their infancy. The PE is high for now, but if some of the partnerships they have made over the past two years finally do hit the mainstream, watchout ! For example, they have agreements with Delco, Pioneer & Alpine electronics for the automobile industry. Through the use of Windows CE, they will be able to offer the consumer voice controlled use of their music selections, internet selections, email/fax sending and receiving, and whatever else they come up with - all while driving down the road ! I know this probably sounds a little farout today, but so did the car radio in the early days of the automobile. Who would be able to drive and change radio stations at the same time was the thinking then. Now even the lowest priced cars come with some sort of radio. And of course this is just one area where they have been making themselves present. I think one of their really strong suits is their ability to interpret just about any language thrown their way into whatever the user of their software's native language is. For example, say you're in China and you want to search the internet for all data relating to I don't know, say "Golden Retrievers". Now I've read that roughly 85 % of the internet content is in english. If this is true, how much information do you think our friend in china would get back in his native language ? Not much. However, if his inquiry was "translated" to many languages his success rate on that same search would be increased many fold. Then the beauty of it is that the results are translated yet again, back to his native chinese so he can understand what he is looking at. Wow ! I'm sorry to go on and on about this company, but I just think some of the things they have on the market now and plan to bring to market in the future are really breakthru types of technology. I mean we really are in a global market and any tool or technology that can help to bring down a major barrier such as differences in language will only make us better able to communicate with each other. But like I said to our friend Tom...I invested in Naxos too :)

p.s. Do you have any future Dell's that you are looking at currently Henry ? |
