before messing with vivendi, you need to ask the following questions:

Whayt percentage of revenues is the software division?

Second, keep in mind that cendant software overall includes a very large games business. Although there are big sellers in games, it is a very cyclical business and a lot less stable than education, reference or personal productivity.

Based on the impact to Vivendi's earnings, I suspect the cendant business is not material enough to warrant a Vivendi investment even if it were possible.
