Yes the automatic margin shut-down to save us from a bad mistake is a great idea.

Yesterday on CNBC they mentioned a trading clerk who pressed the wrong button in the morning on his desktop -- and the firm LOST $17,000,000 while unwinding the trade. There goes that guy's year-end bonus! (g)
