John, Be nice and check your facts. There are many indices by which one can follow the highs and the lows. The combined NASDAQ biotech index is my favorite. But they all are roughly the same. It had a high in May 96 of about 340 and a low in the summer of 250. It is currently in the 320 range. Sure, Chiron has not participated. But Chiron has had lot of bad news. For growth companies in biotech, I suggest you check out a few of the late stage companies that have been ignored by Wall St. SCIO, TXB, XOMA are some of my favorites. Take care,
