jd, the only reason i mention math is you were wrong. you want to say, ever so badly, that i was wrong. problem is, i wasn't. not sure what motivates you to make up negative stuff. probably just feeling good about very nice up moves and want to gloat over the bears - which you perceive me to be. funny, though, how little you understand due to false assumptions. i hold 0 short positions and over 80% of my investing money is long - on businesses that are growing nicely but are currently out of favor (ever heard of buy low? ;-)

so, i'm 100% long and you make up negative stuff about me b/c you think i'm a bear. really, really odd.

good luck.

psssst... i'll let you know when i do buy some puts. i'm eyeing nvls, mu and cmb as favorite candidates. amzn looks good too, except i can see the price going to $1000 - what is infinity plus $850? infinity. same thing. and those puts are expensive.

be sure you look at the fundamentals of the companies you own and have some kind of scenario for business to get better. if business doesn't then they will drop - perhaps more than you can now imagine.
