WSTR WesterFed Financial Corp. is a savings and loan holding company for Western Security Bank, with 34 offices in Montana. just announced share buyback of 1.1 million shares, almost a full third of the current float. only 5.59 million outstanding, 3.9 million in the float. they have 3.31 per share in cash and a book value of 19.94. P/S 1.30 and a div yield of 3% They announced a Dutch auction to acquire the 1.1 million shares that is to be completed by 12-16-98.
