CHICAGO, Nov 20 (Reuters) - EVEREN Securities said Friday
it raised its intermediate and long term share price targets on
Wind River Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:WIND) after the company posted
better-than-expected third quarter earnings on Thursday.
-- EVEREN says in a report it raised its zero to six months
target to $55 from $52 and its six to 18 months target to $72
from $65 and maintained its intermediate and long term
outperform ratings on the stock.
-- Says the company's $0.25 per share fiscal third quarter
earnings were slightly ahead of its estimate.
-- Says if the stock remains at current levels, it expects
the company to split its stock three-for-two.
-- "We believe that the shares should continue to trade at
a 100 percent premium to the S&P 500 forward earnings
multiple," EVEREN says.
-- Raises fiscal 1999 earnings per share estimate to $0.91
from $0.90 but retains fiscal 2000 estimate of $1.18 a share.
-- Wind River stock down 1-3/16 at 48-1/4 in morning
activity on Nasdaq.
