You're right, they're no Wintel...but they are a large presence in the semi-equip sector and have a pretty diversified product line. They did misjudge the semi cycle pretty badly, though. Last July, when they announced plans to invest $430mm to upgrade their Santa Clara facility, the CEO said, "These investments will support a revenue level of at least $10 billion." Bold words at the time...but with shrinking revenues, they have a hollow ring now. I think they'll do all right in the future, and I'll probably buy some when the stock price gets in the teens...but right now, I'm seriously considering some Jan puts. Any thoughts on strikes and expirations?

TIA, Merritt
