Michelle,

So did CSCO (issue a decree last year). It may have been at
the request of M$FT who was talking to CSCO at the time.
However, it was never implemented except as a print server
for some of their printers. Why??? CSCO senior management
was apparently ignored by the sys admins who wanted to stay
with Unix. Those admins undoubtedly valued life outside of
work and went with what worked.

Similarly, DELL has not "fully implemented" NT yet. Will they
ever??? Even M$FT uses SUNW servers instead of NT at their
hotmail site. MSNBC tried to implement NT & it blew up so
often, their engineers finally got their way and bought a
whole slew of SUNW Ultras.

M$FT is an apps company. They should stop trying to do something
they are clearly not capable of doing and forget NT.

cheers,

cherylw
