Wiley, An inside day, like today for May beans, is when the entire range of the trading day is contained within the previous bar's range.... meaning that today's high was lower than yesterday's high, and today's low was higher than yesterday's low. The general thinking is that inside days show indecision by both buyers and sellers, and eventually break in one direction or another. Inside days by themselves are of little value to me. I like to see what other indicators and methods say at the time of an inside day. I can enter a stop order to sell below a low or buy above a high, depending on what the other tea leaves say... FWIW. I will look at may beans later to see how this inside day shapes up, given the other stuff. Later Regards, Frank
