You can daytrade in a cash account, but you cant' 1) have any buying power beyond free cash and 2) mightnot be able to utilize thefunds until the following day. Its rarely done. Why not open a margin a/c, not use the margin but not have a 90 days reg t restriction. -Steve@yamner.com
