After a brief, expensive fling with NNC last summer, I've got most of my dough in CTR.A, mostly because I haven't got a clue on daytrading Canadian stocks. The volume of info just isn't the same as for the NASDAQ stocks.
NNC ......been their done that!<gg> Can't go wrong with "the tire". For those familiar with NASDAQ volumes and trading them everyday, certainly Canadian stocks look intimidating! However, it stil can be done.....in fact we are doing it !!

I personally won't look at
1. VSE stocks
2.. Anything under 1$
3. Stocks with average volume less than 50K/day

Which is fine because those rarely make a daytrade. My objectives are to make a minimum of .40c per trade. This is relatively easy in Canada on the large stocks like the Banks/Teckies/Financials/Golds/ Trandsports. I stress the term relative!!

If the thread works out the way I hope you will see posts from .02c stocks to $100.00 we intend not to discriminate. It will be up to you to determine if you wish to dive in or not. But prior to just jumping in based on somebody elses "foolishness" or knowledge" you need to visit another thread first.
Visit the thread started by Keith Massey which is a thread that discusses how to daytrade in Canada!

Subject 22429

Once you pick a "system"/ "software"/ strategy then its down to pulling the trigger!!! This is what this thread is for...pulling the trigger (or executing a buy)

Check out Keiths thread...read all you can

thanks for joining the thread!
