You're correct, of course. The CNW release confirms 2.5, and the VSE also confirmed 2.5 when I called them this morning.

When the VSE computer converted their word document release into a text file for retransmission, it changed "2 1/2" to "2<<". They are correcting their data and say thanks for pointing out the flaw.
