Euro conversion or y2k: obviously the funds are insufficient to meet both challenges. So Euro takes precedence. But what if Euro financial institutions have crashing comp systems? Will they be shut down as a result, or excluded from worldwide fin markets due to fear of exchange of corrupt data? In any case, effect on gold cannot be negative. This is one for the govs and companies to answer.
