I think there was a bout of tax loss selling in other stocks over the Xmas period. Some of that cash ended up in well financed juniors like PVO, ESX, MFL, and CTQ, which all were up sharply over the Xmas to early January period. The increased demand lead to short lived inflated prices, which was shortened further by a sharp drop off in the price of gold. At this point, the only significant moves in PVO will be from improvements in the fundamentals. However, there appears to be support for PVO near the $2 level, so barring any more negative announcements, perhaps there is limited downside at current levels, Regards, Robert.
