TO ALL:

Progress continues to be made at the Hassayampa facility. Mike McKay arrived there on the 12th and plans to remain through December 10th. After a brief visit with his family Mr. McKay shall return to the mill and remain for a good part of the remainder of December. Mr. McKay's goal is to complete the 50- ton test and then resume regular production. Initially production shall resume at the 50-ton per day level with 5-ton per day increases each week for the balance of this year.

We feel that we have a solution to the chemistry problems associated with the precipitate. Our next step in this test is the firing of the precipitate. A first firing test will occur on Monday 11/23.

Our consulting firm continues to work on the water-permitting project and progress is being made in this area. We are operating under a zero discharge philosophy and recoveries to date indicate no detrimental effects. The situation shall be continually monitored.

I am scheduled to visit Mike McKay and others at the Hassayampa site from Sunday 11/22 through Tuesday 11/24. Mr. McKay shall provide me with an update for all. I hope to disseminate that information by Friday 11/27.

We at Global wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving.
