South African project not proceeding Blackrun Ventures Inc BKV Shares issued 1,247,802 Nov 20 close $0.09 Fri 20 Nov 98 News Release Mr. David Campbell reports Blackrun Ventures has been advised by Pure Gold Minerals that Pure Gold is not able to effect the transfer of the option on the South African alluvial project to Blackrun. Blackrun will retain its Alberta land interests, focusing on two key developments in the Buffalo Head diamond program: the recent discovery of diamondiferous kimberlites outside the immediate Buffalo Hills area by the Montello/Kennecott joint venture on the first legend property, the first proof of wider spread kimberlite occurrences on the craton; and indications by the Ashton/Alberta Energy/Pure Gold joint venture that anomalies with kimberlite-like signatures have been identified on their extended land package. Blackrun retains interests in approximately 3.4 million acres covering prospective areas of the Buffalo Head craton.
